The operating profit or loss of the retail banking division of NatWest Group increased overall between 2018 and 2024, yet with some significant fluctuations. While the period between 2018 and 2020 saw a significant decline from around 1.85 billion British pounds down to 849 million British pounds, the operating profit of the retail banking division sharply increased in 2022, reaching 2.82 billion British pounds. Nevertheless, it underwent a decline again, ultimately settling at approximately 2.43 British pounds in 2024.
