Number of CATV stations Philippines 2019, by region

In 2019, there were over 1.6 thousand community antenna television (CATV) stations in the Philippines, about 329 of which were broadcasting in the Southern Tagalog region. Most television stations in the country are part of the major TV networks such as GMA Network, Associated Broadcasting Corporation, and ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation. ABS-CBN, however, was denied of its franchise renewal in May 2020 forcing it to shutdown its operations.
