As of 2024, the Nordea Bank Abp had the highest tier 1 capital among the largest banks in the Nordics. That year, Nordea reported a tier 1 capital of 28.7 billion euros. Danske Bank A/S and DNB ASA followed, with a tier 1 capital amounting to over 20 billion euros.
