In 2024, the online ad expenditure amounted to over one billion euros, or almost 64 percent of the total, making it Ireland's leading ad medium that year. TV and radio followed with about 255 million and 157 million euros, respectively. According to another source, Irish digital ad revenues will continue to expand as the decade unfolds, exceeding 1.4 billion euros by 2028.
Having experienced ups and downs since the pandemic, TV ad spending in Ireland was projected to increase for the second consecutive year in 2025 to more than 259 million euros. As the medium dwells with the internet's constant rise, online video emerges as the fastest-growing ad channel in Ireland in 2025, with a forecast growth rate of nearly 17 percent in 2025 – the average will stay at an estimated 7.3 percent.
