In 2022, the Meta Horizon mobile app (previously known as Meta Quest) for Meta's popular VR headsets saw a downloads peak, reaching almost 10.5 million downloads. Between 2018 and 2022, global downloads of the Horizon mobile app experienced a moderate but constant increase. In 2024, the app saw around nine million downloads from global users worldwide.
