According to a survey conducted in August 2024, over 56 percent of female respondents in Japan stated that they do not feel uncomfortable or hesitant a lot to receive cosmetic surgeries. Around 22.4 percent of female respondents stated they do not feel uncomfortable or hesitant at all to receive medical hair removal.
