The largest share of Russians who left the country to work abroad in 2022 went to Liberia. Traditionally, these are sailors and workers in the shipbuilding industry. The second-leading destination of labor migration in that year was Panama. Furthermore, nearly 3,000 Russians went to work in Malta.
