In 2021, the UK and Portugal were the countries in the European region with the highest prevalence of asthma, with approximately 10 percent and 9.5 percent of their populations suffering from the disease, respectively. On the other hand, Lithuania and Estonia had the lowest prevalence, with 2.8 percent.
