The most sought skill among cybersecurity professionals in 2024 was strong problem-solving abilities, as highlighted by over 30 percent of respondents among cybersecurity professionals with hiring authority worldwide. At the same time, 28 percent of respondents considered teamwork and collaboration skills a sought attribute. On the other hand, only seven percent of respondents considered leadership abilities to be an important qualification for cybersecurity professionals in 2024.
