In 2023, Ghana exported approximately 1.1 billion U.S. dollars in cocoa beans, down from roughly 1.14 billion U.S. dollars in the preceding year. Within the period observed, exports of cocoa beans from the country fluctuated, peaking in 2018, at around 2.4 billion U.S. dollars. Ghana is a leading exporter of cocoa in Africa.
