According to a survey among Vietnamese internet users conducted by Decision Lab, as of the third quarter of 2024, around nine percent of Vietnamese Gen X respondents said they used Facebook most often for online shopping. By comparison, the share of Gen Z internet users shopping on Facebook was the lowest that year, at two percent.

According to the source, Generation X are people born between 1960 and 1980, Generation Y are those born between 1981 and 1996, and Generation Y are those born between 1997 and 2006.
