The 12 countries shown here accounted for about 28 percent of the total number of people with insufficient food consumption. Not all countries are included in the monitoring of the source. Insufficient food consumption covers individuals who eat staples and vegetables daily, and also consume vegetable oil and pulses a few times a week, and everyone who eats less than that.
Compared to September 19, 2022, the share of people in the top 12 has grown by three percent.
