In 2023, more than half of the people in France, 52 percent, considered the far-right Rassemblement National party led by Marine Le Pen to be a danger to democracy. The perception of this danger was lower among employees (44 percent), and workers (39 percent). The latter were in fact nearly 50 percent to consider that the party founded by Jean-Marie Le Pen was capable of governing the country.
