Russia's largest portion of revenue from fossil fuel exports to the European Union (EU) since the war in Ukraine came from sales of oil, at over 111 billion euros as of January 28, 2025. Fossil gas exports brought the second-largest revenue at around 98 billion euros. In total, Russia's revenue from exports of fossil fuels to the EU from February 24, 2022, amounted to approximately 212.6 billion euros.
