In 2024, natural gas pipeline imports in Spain amounted to over 134 terawatt-hours. The AlmerÃa international pipeline was the largest entry point for such imports, accounting for more than three-quarters of the total import volume. Meanwhile, natural gas exports reached some 22 terawatt-hours that year, with the Pyrenees VIP pipeline as the main exit point.
