Peru: leading internet activities 2021-2023

In 2023, more than 91.3 percent of respondents to a survey in Peru reported accessing social networks when using the internet. Over 56.2 percent of Peruvians interviewed stated to use the internet to do some online search and/or check the news. That year, social media was also the most common mobile activity among internet users in the Andean country. Additionally, online calls and online banking were also among the activities with the highest growth rate, increasing around 3 percentage points each.
