U.S. public library print holdings FY 1995-2019

In the fiscal year of 2019, there were around 686.88 million print public library holdings in the United States. This is a decrease from the previous year when there were around 713 million print holdings. The number of print holdings has been decreasing since 2008. In 2019, the number of print holdings fell below 1995 levels for the first time.
