In the observed period, the access to the internet via cell phones increased significantly for the two genders in Czechia. In 2012, the number of men accessing the internet via mobile was more than double that of women. However, in 2024, women overtook men and amounted to 81.6 percent, while men amounted to 80.2 percent share.

Survey for the year 2024 was carried out on 5,904 individual persons aged 16+ and 3,850 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households. CAPI and CATI survey types were used.
The value is the percentage of the total number of Czechs aged 16+ in the given year and of the given gender. *Only access to the internet via a cellphone is counted.
