In the first nine months of 2023, China led with the newly registered foreign direct investment (FDI) in the manufacturing sector in Vietnam, accounting for 22 percent of the total FDI recorded in this sector. Following closely were Singapore and Hong Kong, with shares of 21 percent and 17 percent, respectively, in Vietnam's manufacturing sector.
