In the observed period, the number of people aged 16 and older, who used the internet in the past three months, increased significantly in Czechia. In 2010, about 5.46 million Czechs actively used the internet, while in 2023, this number increased to nearlz 7.6 million people over the age of 16.

Survey for the year 2024 was carried out on 5,904 individual persons aged 16+ and 3,850 reached households, the data was subsequently converted through post-stratification with respect to the whole population aged 16 or older which amounted to 8,8 million people and 4,5 million households. CAPI and CATI survey types were used.
