According to a survey conducted among companies in South Korea that participated in the national emissions trading system (K-ETS) in 2023, around a quarter agreed that the K-ETS had strengthened their domestic or international competitiveness through environmental measures in business operations. However, over 30 percent disagreed with this statement.
