In a survey conducted among gamers in Japan in 2024, 154 out of 1,972 respondents associated the "Street Fighter" series with eSports competitions. This amounted to a share of around 7.81 percent. Capcom's Beat ’em up franchise was followed by "Apex Legends" and "Fortnite."
