As of 2024, 63 merger and acquisition (M&A) type exits were completed in Israel, where the acquirer was from the United States. This reflected an increase in the number of American-led M&A events in the local hightech sector, reversing a negative trend. Between 2021 and 2023, the total number of these types of M&A deals decreased by about 48 percent. American buyers remained the most active in the Israeli exit market.
