Leading FMCG shopping channels Asia Q2 2024, by country
As of the second quarter of 2024, street shops were the most commonly used FMCG shopping channel in Vietnam's rural area, at 72 percent. In comparison, the most used FMCG shopping channel in urban India was kirana and pan bidi shops, amounting to 80 percent of the market value as of the second quarter of 2024. Kiranas are usually small family-owned grocery stores and paan-beedis are small kiosks.
