In the year ended March 2024, New Zealand's tourism GDP bounced back, with an increase of around 10 percent. In 2021, the annual growth rate of New Zealand's tourism industry GDP took a massive plunge of around 38.5 percent. From 2015 to 2020, the tourism industry's GDP growth was relatively stable, with the highest positive GDP growth recorded across the given period in 2023.
