In 2022, equity accounted for the largest net outflows totaling ** billion euros. Other AIFs accounted for the largest inflow of roughly ** billion euros. The in/outflow structure of an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) is a direct consequence of how investors choose to manage their assets across their portfolio. The Dutch pension scheme is among the largest in Europe. The rebalancing of the asset management structure in Dutch pension funds has a direct impact on the sales of AIFs in the European Union.
Data has been compiled by the EFAMA through its 58 corporate members representative of market participants and its 26 associate members representing consultancies, asset servicing companies, and law firms.
