According to a survey of internet users in Sweden, as of the third quarter of 2024, about 80.8 percent of respondents reported playing video games on any device. Smartphone gaming was the most popular option among respondents, with roughly 59.2 percent stating they played video games on their smartphones. Games console ranked as the second, with 31.6 percent of respondents using consoles for gaming, followed by laptop and desktop gaming, with 29.4 percent reporting they play on laptop or desktop.
