According to an October 2024 global study, most business travel managers surveyed did not consider limiting work-related trips in the year ahead because of economic concerns. While 24 percent of the sample believed that restricting business travel was unlikely, 31 percent reported taking a wait-and-see approach but not seriously considering limiting corporate trips.
