Hungarians had an overall low level of trust in news sources, according to the findings of a survey conducted in 2023. Hungarians' most trusted source of news were different people and groups of friends they followed on social media, accounting for 28 percent of the answers. At the same time, another 28 percent of the respondents trusted various online news sources, including blog posts and podcasts.
