In 2022, retail sales of the cake brand Hostess amounted to approximately 1.1 billion U.S. dollars. Little Debbie's retails sales were about one billion U.S. dollars. These were in the two leading brands on the U.S. market in 2022. Their sales were outclassed by private label sales and the sale of artisanal cake products.
