When an LGBTQ-inclusive movie is made, it is more likely than not to include a character who is a gay man. According to a survey by GLAAD, of the 170 LGBTQ-inclusive movies released in 2023 in the United States, 48 percent included gay male characters. In contrast, 15 percent included bisexual characters.
