
U.S.: leading factors for consumers when choosing their next vehicle's brand 2024
In a December 2024 survey, product quality was cited by 58 percent of U.S. respondents as a leading factor influencing their choice of brand for their next vehicle purchase. This was by far the most cited factor, with price and vehicle performance only mentioned by 53 and 51 percent of participants. Brand affiliation were the least important factor in consumers' decisions, with only eight percent of respondents mentioning it.
