In the first quarter of 2024, El Al Airlines generated an operational income of 738 million U.S. dollars. This represented an almost nine percent increase from the previous quarter. After the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war in October 2023, many international airlines reduced their flights to Israel. In contrast, the Israeli flagship airline continued to fly, becoming the most reliable mode of international air transport.
