Monthly nuclear power production in France reached 38.6 terawatt-hours in January 2025. The monthly nuclear electricity generation was as low as 18 terawatt-hours in August and September 2022 because of planned temporary shut-downs of the French nuclear reactors for maintenance or repair. This was the smallest volume of nuclear electricity produced in France in at least 30 years.
