According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2025 on social commerce, around ** percent of respondents between the ages of 16 to 24 and those over 55 years old answered that they purchased something via social media because it was convenient to buy. This was the most common reason across all age groups, followed by participating in a sale or promotion by using social media for the purchase.
