Between 2021 and 2022, in five out of seven countries in North Africa, over ** percent of respondents believed that men should have the final say in family-related matters. The country where this sentiment was strongest was Algeria, where ** percent of survey participants had this opinion. Conversely, Tunisia recorded the lowest share, at approximately ** percent.
