A survey conducted in December 2024 in Indonesia found that 30 percent of respondents planned to use private cars and motorcycle for Ramadan and Eid trips (mudik) in 2025. Visiting family and friends in hometowns and villages, known as mudik, is an important tradition during the Eid holidays in Indonesia.
