In 2019, married women in South Korea spent about 244 minutes daily on household chores, while married men spent around 60 minutes daily on similar tasks. Despite the increasing involvement of South Korean men in housework and childcare over the past decade, there remains a significant gender gap in the amount of time spent on these responsibilities.
