Share of individuals using social networks in Portugal 2020-2024, by education level

In Portugal, in 2020, the highest share of social network users was found among those with high formal education, at a share of 82 percent, while those with no education or low formal education used social networks at a rate of 42 percent.
In 2024, the highest shares were found among individuals with medium formal education, at a rate of 82.65 percent. Individuals with no or low formal education presented a 52 percent usage rate, while those with high formal education had 82.4 percent rates in the same year.
