In the considered time period, television registered the highest sales revenue of all promotional channels in Portugal, peaking in 2008 at over 748 million euros. However, by 2023, this value had decreased to 411.6 million euros. Radio advertising revenues also followed a decreasing trend, totaling 87 million euros in 2008, and only 48 million euros in 2023. On the other hand, online advertising revenues increased drastically, going from 42 million euros in 2008 to more than 277 million euros in 2023.
