A March 2023 survey among adults in the United States found that around seven in ten respondents thought that the federal government should take more actions against scam texts, e-mails, or calls. Moreover, they were more certain about needed actions, whereas nine percent of surveyed men said there should be fewer actions against fraudulent activities.
