Ratio of government expenditure to GDP in Suriname 1990-2030

The ratio of government expenditure to GDP in Suriname was estimated at approximately 29.18 percent in 2024. Between 1990 and 2024, the ratio rose by around 6.51 percentage points, though the increase followed an uneven trajectory rather than a consistent upward trend. The ratio is forecast to decline by about 10.53 percentage points from 2024 to 2030, fluctuating as it trends downward.
