Southern Europe main reasons for using the internet 2023, by country

As of the third quarter of 2023, finding information was the main reason for using the internet across all selected Northern European countries. In Greece and Portugal, over 80 percent mentioned it as their primary reason for going online. Among other common reasons were keeping up to date with news and events and researching how to do things. Less popular were using the internet for sharing opinions and doing business-related research.
