During an early 2025 global survey among public relations (PR) firms, one-quarter (or 25 percent) of participants selected strategic communication and PR consultancy as the service with the most opportunities for growth in the industry. Issues and crisis management ranked second, chosen by 21 percent of respondents. According to the same study, clients' confidence to invest due to an uncertain economic outlook ranked among the global PR sector's top challenges for 2025.
