Traffic crash injuries among e-bike riders in Germany have been on an upward trend throughout the period between 2019 and 2023. In 2023, the number of e-bike riders injured in traffic crashes was around 23,600.
E-scooters have been recorded separately from other motorized two-wheelers since 2021, and in 2023, Germany recorded around 8,400 e-scooter riders being injured in traffic crashes.
