Percentage of WhatsApp users who bought a product through the app in Brazil 2024

As of April 2024, over half (or 54 percent) of WhatsApp users surveyed in Brazil reported having bought products through the app more than once. More than one-third (38 percent) said they had never done it, while eight percent stated they had done it once. According to the same study, the share of Brazilian WhatsApp users opposed to receiving ads through the app grew by over 10 percentage points in 2024.
