Monthly spending on electricity consumption by households Nigeria 2023
Based on a survey conducted in 2023, the majority of Nigerians paid between 1,000 and ***** Nigerian naira (**** U.S. dollars and **** U.S. dollars) monthly for their household's electricity consumption. Some ** percent spent an amount within that bracket. Furthermore, around a quarter of the respondents claimed they paid from ***** to 10,000 Nigerian naira (**** U.S. dollars and ***** U.S. dollars) monthly. On the other hand, ** percent did not know or refused to answer how much they were paying each month for electricity usage.
