According to a survey conducted in Singapore between January and February 2024, only three percent of surveyed companies were already at the mature stage of readiness to protect their identity. While another 15 percent were at the progressive stage.

Survey respondents were conducted among 8,136 private sector business leaders who have cybersecurity responsibilities in their organizations in 30 countries, including Singapore.
Stages are defined as: Beginner: at initial stages of deployment of solutions Formative: have some level of deployment, but performing below average on cybersecurity readiness Progressive: considerable level of deployment and performing above average on cybersecurity readiness Mature: have achieved advanced stages of deployment and are most ready to address security risks
