Based on data from July 2022 to June 2023, around 42 percent of refrigerators sold on South Korean e-commerce platform Danawa had two doors that were in a top and bottom door layout. The small difference between the market share of fridges with other door types indicated that consumers were flexible in choosing alternative options to a top/bottom two-door fridge.
