Mondelez International generated 179 thousand metric tons of food waste in their internal manufacturing sites in 2023. This represented a decrease of more than 25 percent in comparison to 2018. The company has already exceeded their target to reduce food waste from internal manufacturing by 15 percent from 2018 levels by 2025.
